IT'S A BOY - Congratulations to Tom Ford and his long-time partner Richard Buckley, who welcome a baby boy named Alexander John Buckley, born in Los Angeles on September 23rd. The renowned designer (Tom Ford, Gucci) and director (A Single Man) has been with Richard Buckley, the former Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Hommes International, since the 1980's when they met at a fashion show. The couple is remaining very discreet and protective regarding baby Alexander. Ford told People Magazine that he "would never use his child as a press tool" and that we may not see his child until he is 18. Well, we definitely respect the family's right to privacy and understand why they'd hide their child away these days, but we really hope we get some glimpses of little Alex over the years, because we are already dying to see what he's going to be wearing.
